I was born in Belgium and grew up in Manhattan. I studied photography as an undergraduate at the University of Pennsylvania, where I was Photography Editor of the University of Pennsylvania Record. I worked as a freelance photographer and photojournalist during my years in college.
I have traveled extensively in Europe and the United States. My more recent work in photography has focused on nature photography as well as more abstract photographic interpretation of my life in the Delaware Valley. My photography reflects my personal view of the world around me. Light, shape and color are used to paint emotions and feelings in a photographic image.
I currently use a digital single lens reflex camera to record my images. The digital workflow allows me to control my images from start to finish. My photographs are printed using archival inks to prevent fading, and maintain color over many decades.
